RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE VISITORS

1. Photography or Videography of the photos displayed is NOT ALLOWED by any of the Visitors as the photographs displayed are the original cultural heritage of the communities concerned.
2. Visitors are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from posting/uploading photos or videos on any of the social media platforms. The displayed content is the original collected work of the Department of Anthropology.
3. Please view the photos and artifacts displayed from a safe distance and the touching of the displayed photographs is NOT ALLOWED.
4. No food and drink are permitted inside the exhibition spaces.
5. Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while at the Museum. A parent or guardian must supervise those under the age of 6 years at all times.
6. Commercial photography, portrait photography, private photo shoots, live streaming, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, lighting, or cabling are not allowed in the Museum.
7. Any person or group exhibiting aggressive, abusive, harassing, or threatening behaviour or language, including the use of obscenities, displaying hate-related symbols, or evoking hatred in any way towards another person, will be asked to leave the Museum Premises.
8. Any person or group using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol or drugs on the premises will be asked to leave the Museum Premises. (NO SMOKING/ DRINKING ZONE)
9. Visitors shall not make a declaration or speech, create a media event, or stage a photo opportunity without prior approval from the Museum.
10. Weapons of any type are strictly prohibited in the museum and on the museum grounds. This includes firearms of any type and/or ammunition; stun guns; cutting tools, including knives, scissors, and blades; tools and tool parts; and any items that could be considered dangerous to people, art or artifacts including hammers, saws, sharp objects, poles, and sticks (other than walking sticks).
11. Hazardous materials may not enter the museum, including pepper spray, mace, and other chemical compounds or biological agents that could be considered toxic, including flammable liquids, aerosols, fuels, fireworks, chemicals, and explosives.
12. Patrons are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. The Museum authorities or staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
